There are endless possibilities in transforming a flat wall into an infinite, timeless work of art and this is my love & life's work.

I am a native New Mexican, born & raised in Santa Fe. Years & many travels later, I came to Albuquerque in 1981. For 16 years, I was a pictorial artist and muralist for Donrey Outdoor Advertising. As a mother of two wonderful sons, I was fortunate to provide for them doing what I love. Along the way, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.

In 1998, I began DreamScapes as a fine art and mural business. I specialize in trompe l'oeil and personalized murals and paintings which also express the patron's vision and ideas.

Most of my murals are painted on site, though I have painted them on panels and wallpaper for later installation. I have completed numerous mural, painting, and portrait commissions in Albuquerque and surrounding areas. I work with a variety of mediums to suit the many surfaces that I paint.

   

Images from my dreams have been a great source of inspiration. Much of my personal art is dramatic and primal, sometimes with a twist of humor. My style borders between the real and surreal, sometimes referred to as magic realism. I love to take the beauty of the natural world to a new dimension of the imagination.

Mural painting is my primary focus. I've enjoyed working one on one with the wonderful patrons I have met through the years. Between mural commissions, I continue to build a repertory of new works and have begun to show my paintings & prints:
